Rail links between London and Stansted airport have been disrupted after a train ploughed into three cows that wandered onto the tracks near Bishop’s Stortford.
Tourists faced missing their flights after lines between the airport and the capital were closed in both directions following the collision just before 3pm on Wednesday afternoon. There were also delays to services between Liverpool Street and Cambridge.
