Bank holiday: 13m motorists to hit roads as weather worsens
Heavy rain due in south on Saturday when roads are expected to be busiest, while rail passengers face engineering work delays
An estimated 13 million drivers will take to the UK roads for a break or a day out this bank holiday weekend when the weather is expected to worsen.
The AA said the busiest single day for motorists going on leisure journeys was expected to be Saturday, when 10 million drivers would get behind the wheel.
