Firefighters tackle major blaze near Blackwall tunnel in London
About 100 firefighters, London ambulance service staff and 15 fire engines are on the scene near Greenwich, south-east London
About 100 firefighters are tackling a large blaze close to the Blackwall tunnel in south-east London.
Pictures on social media showed flames and black smoke rising into the air. London fire brigade said it received the first of more than 50 emergency calls at about 11.45am on Monday and dispatched 15 fire engines from nine different stations to the scene. London ambulance service staff are also on the scene, LFB said.
