Roof of doubledecker bus sliced off in crash in Liverpool
Rail replacement bus with no passengers on it driven in to railway bridge
The roof of a doubledecker bus was sliced clean off after the vehicle was driven in to a railway bridge in Liverpool.
The Stagecoach bus, itself a rail replacement service, caused trains in the area to be suspended after the crash, which took place on St Peter’s Road, on the Wirral, around midday on Saturday. There were no passengers on the bus at the time and no one was injured.
