Southern rail 'reaches deal to end strikes over driver-only trains'
Train operator believed to have struck an agreement with Aslef, with announcement expected later on Thursday
Southern rail is believed to have reached a deal with train drivers to end their dispute following a second week of talks.
The result of the negotiations between the operating company, Govia Thameslink Railway, and drivers’ union Aslef is expected to be announced later on Thursday.
