GWR takes Intercity Express trains out of service after PR fiasco

Technical issues plagued first outings for new trains in £5.7bn fleet envisaged as replacements after electrification projects axed

The much-heralded Intercity Express train has been temporarily taken out of passenger service as engineers try to iron out technical problems, it has emerged.
